He married, firstly, Elizabeth de Luxembourg, daughter of Johann Heinrich Markgraf von Moravie and Margaret of Troppau, circa 1366. He married, secondly, Anne von Braunschweig-Göttingen, daughter of Otto II Herzog von Braunschweig-Göttingen and Margaret von Jülich, before 7 May 1402. He died on 10 February 1407 at age 63.
