     Arthur Dendy was born on 20 January 1865 at Manchester, Lancashire, England.1 He was the son of Reverend John Dendy and Sarah Beard.1 He married Ada Margaret Courtauld, daughter of Lewis Courtauld and Elizabeth Robinson, on 5 December 1888.2 He died on 24 March 1925 at age 60 at London, England.1
