     Captain Sir Walter Robert Buchanan Riddell, 12th Bt. was born on 21 April 1879. He married Hon. Rachel Beatrice Lyttelton, daughter of Charles George Lyttelton, 8th Viscount Cobham and Hon. Mary Susan Caroline Cavendish, on 28 August 1919.1 He died on 5 June 1934 at age 55.
     Captain Sir Walter Robert Buchanan Riddell, 12th Bt. gained the title of 12th Baronet Riddell.
