Gunhild Balck is the daughter of Maj.-Gen. Sir Victor Gustaf Balck.2 She married James St. Vincent Broke Saumarez, 5th Baron de Saumarez, son of James St. Vincent Saumarez, 4th Baron Saumrez and Jane Anne Vere-Broke, on 30 April 1914.1 She died in 1985.1
Her married name became Saumarez. As a result of her marriage, Gunhild Balck was styled as Baroness de Saumarez on 25 April 1937.
