     John Ritchie Findlay was born on 21 October 1824. He was the son of Peter Findlay and Elizabeth Johnston.3 He married Susan Leslie on 27 October 1863. He died on 28 October 1898 at age 74.
     He was proprietor of The Scotsman. He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.)1 He lived at Aberlour, Morayshire, ScotlandG.4

     David John Talbot was born on 26 January 1960.2 He was the son of Lt.-Col. John Talbot and Janet Wyndham Green.2 He married Margret Manson Cameron, daughter of Douglas Gordon McKenzie Cameron and Elizabeth Jean Manson, in 1983.3 He died on 21 December 2018 at age 58.4

     Charlotte Martha Parker was the daughter of Admiral of the Fleet Sir William Parker, 1st Bt. and Frances Anne Biddulph.1,2 She married Admiral Hon. George Henry Douglas, son of George Sholto Douglas, 17th Earl of Morton and Frances Theodora Rose, on 15 July 1850.2 She died on 20 December 1909.2
     From 15 July 1850, her married name became Douglas.2

     Lt.-Cdr. Sir Peter Markham Scott was born on 14 September 1909 at London, England.2 He was the son of Captain Robert Falcon Scott and Lady Edith Agnes Kathleen Bruce. He married, firstly, Elizabeth Jane Howard, daughter of David Howard and Katharine Somervell, in 1942.3 He and Elizabeth Jane Howard were divorced in 1951.3 He married, secondly, Felicity Philippa Talbot-Ponsonby, daughter of Commander Frederick William Talbot-Ponsonby and Hannah Findlay, on 7 August 1951.4 He died on 29 August 1989 at age 79 at Bristol, England.5,2
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Commander in the Royal Naval Volunteer Reserve.1 He was an artist and conservationalist.5 He was awarded the Distinguished Service Cross (D.S.C.)1 He was appointed Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.)1 He lived at Slimbridge, Gloucestershire, England.1

Captain Robert Falcon Scott1

     Captain Robert Falcon Scott was born on 6 June 1868 at Outands, Stoke Damerel, Devonport, Devon, EnglandG.2 He was the son of John Edward Scott.2 He married Lady Edith Agnes Kathleen Bruce, daughter of Reverend Lloyd Stewart Bruce and Jane Skene, on 2 September 1908.1 He died on 29 March 1912 at age 43, perished in a March blizzard while returning to the Terra Nova from the South Pole.3
     He was commissioned in 1882 with the rank of officer, in the service of the Royal Navy. He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Navy.4 He was commander of the National Antarctic Expedition between 1900 and 1904. He was appointed Commander, Royal Victorian Order (C.V.O.)1 On 18 January 1912 he and three others reached the South Pole, just after Amundson.

     Lady Edith Agnes Kathleen Bruce was the daughter of Reverend Lloyd Stewart Bruce and Jane Skene.1 She married, firstly, Captain Robert Falcon Scott, son of John Edward Scott, on 2 September 1908.1 She married, secondly, Edward Hilton Young, 1st Baron Kennet, son of Sir George Young, 3rd Bt. and Alice Eacy Kennedy, on 3 March 1922 at St. Stephen's Chapel, Westminster, London, EnglandG.1 She died on 25 July 1947.2
     Lady Edith Agnes Kathleen Bruce usually went by her middle name of Kathleen.3 Sculptor.3 Her married name became Scott. In 1913 she was granted the rank of a widow of a Knight Commander, Order of the Bath.1 She held the office of Private Secretary to the Ministry of Pensions in 1916.1 From 3 March 1922, her married name became Young. After her marriage, Lady Edith Agnes Kathleen Bruce was styled as Baroness Kennet on 15 July 1935.

     Major Arthur Hugh Brabazon Talbot-Ponsonby was born on 4 September 1885.2 He was the son of Charles William Talbot-Ponsonby and Constance Louisa Delmé Radcliffe.2 He married Alianore Rachel Howard, daughter of Sir Edward Stafford Howard and Lady Rachel Anne Georgina Campbell, on 24 July 1913.1 He died on 24 October 1952 at age 67.2
     He gained the rank of Major in the 9th Battalion, Hampshire Regiment.2 He held the office of Member of the Hampshire County Council between 1929 and 1934.2 He was Commissioner to 16th Duke of Norfolk in 1935.2 He was president of the Land Agent's Society in 1938.2

     Alianore Rachel Howard was born on 25 May 1886.1 She was the daughter of Sir Edward Stafford Howard and Lady Rachel Anne Georgina Campbell.1 She married Major Arthur Hugh Brabazon Talbot-Ponsonby, son of Charles William Talbot-Ponsonby and Constance Louisa Delmé Radcliffe, on 24 July 1913.1 She died on 29 May 1974 at age 88.1
     Her married name became Talbot-Ponsonby.
