     William Granville Wingate was born on 28 May 1911 at Reigate, Surrey, England.² He was the son of Colonel George Wingate and Mary Ethel Stanley Orde-Browne.^3,2 He married Judith Rosemary Evatt, daughter of Lt.-Col. John Henry Beckwith Evatt and Barbara Wilson, on 12 April 1960.¹ He died on 26 July 1990 at age 79 at Hastings, Sussex, England.²
     He gained the rank of 2nd Lieutenant in 1941 in the Royal Artillery.² He fought in the Second World War.² He was appointed Queen's Counsel (Q.C.) in 1963.¹ He held the office of County Court Judge between 1967 and 1986.²

     Jancis Primrose Evatt was born on 7 August 1935.¹ She is the daughter of Lt.-Col. John Henry Beckwith Evatt and Barbara Wilson.² She married Major Anthony Lyle Hayes-Newington, son of Lt.-Col. Bertram Yorke Hayes-Newington, on 23 October 1965.¹
