     Arthur Noel Richardson Jager was born in 1882 at Birkenhead, Cheshire, England.1 He was the son of George Jager and Georgiana Morris.1 He married Winifrede Jean Laird, daughter of William Laird and Anne Jane Prichard, on 8 January 1913 at Birkenhead, Cheshire, England.1 He died circa 1927 at Davos, Switzerland.1
     He fought in the First World War.1 He gained the rank of Captain (temporary) on 2 December 1914 in the 10th (Scottish) Battalion, The King's (Liverppool Regiment.)1 He gained the rank of Captain on 1 June 1916.1 He gained the rank of Captain on 22 February 1918 in the Tank Corps.1
