     Captain Sir Christopher Cole married Lady Mary Lucy Fox-Strangways, daughter of Henry Thomas Fox-Strangways, 2nd Earl of Ilchester and Mary Theresa O'Grady, on 28 April 1815.1 He died in 1836.1
     Captain Sir Christopher Cole was invested as a Knight Commander, Order of the Bath (K.C.B.).1 He gained the rank of Captain in the service of the Royal Navy.1 He gained the rank of Colonel in the service of the Marines.1

John George Charles Fox-Strangways and Amelia Marjoribanks.1 She married Arthur Wellington Alexander Nelson Hood, 2nd Viscount Bridport of Cricket St. Thomas, son of General Alexander Hood, 1st Viscount Bridport of Cricket St. Thomas and Lady Mary Penelope Hill, on 4 April 1872.1 She died on 12 October 1922 at Merstham, Surrey, England.2
     She was granted the rank of an earl's daughter.3 Her married name became Hood.

     Arthur Wellington Alexander Nelson Hood, 2nd Viscount Bridport of Cricket St. Thomas was born on 15 December 1839.1 He was the son of General Alexander Hood, 1st Viscount Bridport of Cricket St. Thomas and Lady Mary Penelope Hill.1 He married Lady Maria Georgiana Julia Fox-Strangways, daughter of Hon. John George Charles Fox-Strangways and Amelia Marjoribanks, on 4 April 1872.1 He died on 28 March 1924 at age 84 at Lancrosse Vale, Guernsey, Channel Islands.2 He was buried on 1 April 1924 at Vale Cemetery, Lancrosse Vale, Guernsey, Channel Islands.2
     Arthur Wellington Alexander Nelson Hood, 2nd Viscount Bridport of Cricket St. Thomas gained the rank of Captain in 1857 in the service of the 57th Foot.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Conservative) for West Somerset between 1868 and 1883.1 He retired from the military in 1870.1 He was Colonel of the West Somerset Yeoman Cavalry between 1872 and 1895.3 He was invested as a Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.) on 10 May 1892.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Somerset.3 He succeeded to the title of Duca di Bronté [Kingdom of Two Sicilies, 1799] on 4 June 1904.2 He succeeded to the title of 2nd Viscount Bridport of Cricket St. Thomas, co. Somerset and of Bronté, in the Kingdom of Italy [U.K., 1868] on 4 June 1904.1 He succeeded to the title of 4th Baron Bridport [I., 1794] on 4 June 1904.1
