     Geoffrey Stephen d'Auvergne Collings was born on 23 February 1924.¹ He was the son of Major Ernest Gardiner Collings and Dorothy Kate Fox-Strangways.¹ He married Rosemary Holden, daughter of G. Holden, on 26 January 1966.¹ He died on 20 November 2015 at age 91.²
     He was educated at Wellington College, Crowthorne, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He fought in the Second World War.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the 60th Rifles.¹ He was educated at Magdalen College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G.¹

     Barbara d'Auvergne Collings was born on 13 May 1920.¹ She was the daughter of Major Ernest Gardiner Collings and Dorothy Kate Fox-Strangways.¹ She married Stuart Askwith Schofield on 11 March 1948.¹ She died on 14 April 1965 at age 44, killed in an airplane crash.¹
     Her married name became Schofield.
