Sir Edward Mosley Mosley is the son of Rowland Mosley and Anne Sutton.2 He married Mary Cutler, daughter of Sir Gervase Cutler, on 15 November 1636.1
He lived Manchester and Rolleston.1 He was also known as 1st Baronet (E) [U.K. Life Peer].1 In September 1616 baptised.1 On 20 July 1640 so created.1 He was High Sheriff Staffordshire in 1642.1 In March 1642 royalist Civil War (captured by Parly forces Middlewich, Cheshire, /3 and subsequently fined £4,200 (c £170,000 in early–2000s terms) plus an annual payment of £64 (£2,500 in early–2000s terms) plus a further fine of £4,874 (c £205,000 in early–20.1 In January 1647 acquitted of rape /8.1
