     Elizabeth Macdowall was born on 29 January 1800.1 She was the daughter of Day Hort Macdowall and Wilhelmina Graham.2 She married Rev. Sir Henry John Ingilby, 1st Bt., son of Reverend Henry Ingilby and Isabella Jane Bates, on 19 August 1824.1 She died on 7 March 1869 at age 69.1
     From 19 August 1824, her married name became Ingilby.

Rev. Sir Henry John Ingilby, 1st Bt.1

     Rev. Sir Henry John Ingilby, 1st Bt. was born on 28 January 1790.2 He was the son of Reverend Henry Ingilby and Isabella Jane Bates.3 He married Elizabeth Macdowall, daughter of Day Hort Macdowall and Wilhelmina Graham, on 19 August 1824.1 He died on 4 July 1870 at age 80.2
     He inherited the estates of Sir William Amcotts Ingilby, 2nd and last Bt.2 He graduated with a Master of Arts (M.A.)2 He was created 1st Baronet Ingilby, of Ripley, in the West Riding of the County of York [U.K.] on 26 July 1866.2

     Her married name became Stirling.
