Malise, 6th Earl of Strathearn was born circa 1257.1 He was the son of Malise, 5th Earl of Strathearn and Maud (?).1,2 He married Agnes Comyn, daughter of Alexander Comyn, 6th Earl of Buchan and Elizabeth de Quincy, before 1275.3 He died in 1312.1

Sir Walter Mansel, 2nd Bt. was baptised on 25 July 1586.3 He was the son of Sir Francis Mansel, 1st Bt. and Catharine Morgan.2 He married Elizabeth Fotherby, daughter of Charles Fotherby, on 11 December 1623.1 He died circa April 1640.3 He was buried on 12 April 1640 at Kidwelly, Wales.3
Sir Walter Mansel, 2nd Bt. graduated from Oriel College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, in 1603 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.).1 He was admitted to Lincoln's Inn in 1605.3 He succeeded to the title of 2nd Baronet Mansel, of Muddlescombe, co.
