     Major Carlo Philip O'Connell was born on 17 August 1820.1 He was the son of Sir Maurice Charles Philip O'Connell and Mary Bligh.2 He married Anne Hester Baldock, daughter of Christopher Baldock and Margaret Sloane, in 1847.1 He died in January 1873 at age 52.1
     Major Carlo Philip O'Connell was New Zealand Wars between 1845 and 1846.1

     Anne Hester Baldock was born circa 1818 at Benares, India.2 She was the daughter of Christopher Baldock and Margaret Sloane.2 She married Major Carlo Philip O'Connell, son of Sir Maurice Charles Philip O'Connell and Mary Bligh, in 1847.1 She died on 26 June 1908 at Hotel Bristol, Cannes, France.2
     From 1847, her married name became O'Connell.

     Colonel Richard O'Connell was born on 29 November 1821.1 He was the son of Sir Maurice Charles Philip O'Connell and Mary Bligh.2 He married Mary Rose Bligh, daughter of Richard Bligh and Elizabeth Bligh, on 18 January 1851.1 He died circa 15 March 1873.1
     Colonel Richard O'Connell gained the rank of Colonel in the service of the Royal Artillery.1
