Sir Edward Vaughan Mansel, 3rd Bt.1

     Sir Edward Vaughan Mansel, 3rd Bt. was the son of Sir Edward Mansel, 2nd Bt. and Anne Price.2 He married Mary Shewen, daughter of Joseph Shewen.1 He died in January 1788.1
     He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Mansel, of Trimsaran, co. Carmarthen [E., 1697] in 1754.1 He held the office of Sheriff of Carmarthenshire in 1778.1

     Sir Edward Joseph Shewen Mansel, 4th Bt. was the son of Sir Edward Vaughan Mansel, 3rd Bt. and Mary Shewen.2 He died on 6 April 1798, unmarried.1
     He succeeded as the 4th Baronet Mansel, of Trimsaran, co. Carmarthen [E., 1697] in January 1788.1 On his death, his baronetcy became extinct.1

     He gained the rank of Captain in the British Army.1 He lived at Beauley, Carmarthenshire, Wales.1

     Malise, 5th Earl of Strathearn was the son of Robert, 4th Earl of Strathearn.1 He married, secondly, Maud (?), daughter of Gilbert, Earl of Caithness and Orkney.2 He married, fourthly, Mary de Ergadia Macdougall, daughter of Ewen Macdougall, 3rd of Dunollie and of Lorn, in 1268.3 He died before 23 November 1271.1,4
     He gained the title of 5th Earl of Strathearn.
