     Vanda Marr Fairbairn was born on 3 October 1896.1 She was the daughter of Edward Percy Fairbairn and Mary Douglas.2 She married Flag-Lt F C Bottomley on 2 June 1919.1 She died on 4 May 1934 at age 37.1
     Her married name became Bottomley. She was married 2nd Commander F J Wylie, Royal Navy on 1 March 1924.1
