     Richard Townsend Herbert was born on 2 November 1754.¹ He was the son of Reverend Arthur Herbert and Helena Townsend.¹

     Jane Denny was the daughter of Sir Thomas Denny and Agnes Blennerhassett.² She married Sir Barry Denny, 1st Bt., son of Reverend Barry Denny and Jane O'Connor, in 1767.¹ She died on 30 October 1811.¹

     Sir Barry Denny, 2nd Bt. was the son of Sir Barry Denny, 1st Bt. and Jane Denny.² He married Anne Morgell, daughter of Crosbie Morgell, on 12 January 1794.¹ He died on 20 October 1794, without issue.¹
     He gained the rank of Major in the service of the Kerry Militia.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for County Kerry.¹ He held the office of High Sheriff of County Kerry in 1794.¹ He succeeded to the title of 2nd Baronet Denny, of Castle Moyle, co. Kerry [I., 1782] in April 1794.¹ He was about to be raised to the peerage as Baron Denmore when he died.¹

     Anne Morgell was the daughter of Crosbie Morgell.¹ She married, firstly, Sir Barry Denny, 2nd Bt., son of Sir Barry Denny, 1st Bt. and Jane Denny, on 12 January 1794.¹ She married, secondly, General Sir John Floyd, 1st Bt., son of John Floyd and Mary Bate, on 29 July 1805.¹ She died on 4 December 1844.¹
      From 12 January 1794, her married name became Denny. From 29 July 1805, her married name became Floyd.¹

     Sir Edward Denny, 3rd Bt. was the son of Sir Barry Denny, 1st Bt. and Jane Denny.² He married Elizabeth Day, daughter of Robert Day, on 26 May 1795.¹ He died on 1 August 1831.¹
     He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.).¹ He held the office of High Sheriff of County Kerry in 1794.¹ He succeeded to the title of 3rd Baronet Denny, of Castle Moyle, co. Kerry [I., 1782] on 20 October 1794.¹ He held the office of Provost of Tralee.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) between 1828 and 1829.¹ He lived at Tralee Castle, Tralee, County Kerry, Ireland.¹

     Katharine Jane Reid is the daughter of Sir Norman Reid.¹

     Sir Norman Reid lived at Beckenham, Kent, England.¹

     Arabella Denny is the daughter of Sir Barry Denny, 1st Bt. and Jane Denny.² She married Rowland Bateman, son of Lt.-Col. Rowland Bateman, in 1790.¹
      From 1790, her married name became Bateman.

     Rowland Bateman is the son of Lt.-Col. Rowland Bateman.² He married Arabella Denny, daughter of Sir Barry Denny, 1st Bt. and Jane Denny, in 1790.¹
     He lived at Killeen (Oak Park), Tralee, County Kerry, Ireland.¹

     Letitia Denny is the daughter of Sir Barry Denny, 1st Bt. and Jane Denny.² She married William Rowan.¹
      Her married name became Rowan.
