Sir Barry Denny, 2nd Bt. was the son of Sir Barry Denny, 1st Bt. and Jane Denny.2 He married Anne Morgell, daughter of Crosbie Morgell, on 12 January 1794.1 He died on 20 October 1794, without issue.1
He gained the rank of Major in the service of the Kerry Militia.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for County Kerry.1 He held the office of High Sheriff of County Kerry in 1794.1 He succeeded to the title of 2nd Baronet Denny, of Castle Moyle, co. Kerry [I., 1782] in April 1794.1 He was about to be raised to the peerage as Baron Denmore when he died.1

Anne Morgell was the daughter of Crosbie Morgell.1 She married, firstly, Sir Barry Denny, 2nd Bt., son of Sir Barry Denny, 1st Bt. and Jane Denny, on 12 January 1794.1 She married, secondly, General Sir John Floyd, 1st Bt., son of John Floyd and Mary Bate, on 29 July 1805.1 She died on 4 December 1844.1
