     William Denny was born on 29 October 1811.1 He was the son of Sir Edward Denny, 3rd Bt. and Elizabeth Day.2 He married Marianne Trueman, daughter of Thomas Trueman, on 25 July 1832.1 He died on 27 January 1871 at age 59.1
     William Denny held the office of Provost of Tralee.1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.).1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.).1
