     Lt.-Col. Robert Sidney Stuart Meade was born on 16 February 1901.³ He is the son of Francis Henry Meade and Beatrice Mary Gordon.^1,2 He married, firstly, Veronica Augusta Wilbraham, daughter of Lt.-Col. Herbert Vere Wilbraham, on 31 May 1930.³ He married, secondly, Maria Elisabeth Johanna Rosalia Ottilia Baronin von Ranberg, daughter of August Hermann George Victor Baron von Ranberg, in 1970.³ He died in 1971.³
     Lt.-Col. Robert Sidney Stuart Meade was educated at Eton College, Eton, Berkshire, England.³ He was educated at Magdalene College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in 1939 in the service of the Royal Artillery (Territorial Army).³ He fought in the Second World War between 1939 and 1945, where he was mentioned in despatches.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Gloucestershire.³

     Veronica Augusta Wilbraham is the daughter of Lt.-Col. Herbert Vere Wilbraham.² She married Lt.-Col. Robert Sidney Stuart Meade, son of Francis Henry Meade and Beatrice Mary Gordon, on 31 May 1930.¹ She died on 10 February 1968.¹
     Her married name became Meade.

     From 15 July 1967, her married name became Corsellis.

     Elizabeth Cecilia Meade was the daughter of Rev. Hon. Sidney Meade and Lucy Emma Jacob.² She married Captain John Somerled Thorpe on 9 August 1904.¹ She died on 13 November 1950.³
     Her married name became Thorpe.

     Granville Edward Vernon was born on 23 November 1816. He was the son of Granville Harcourt-Vernon and Frances Julia Eyre.² He married Lady Selina Catherine Meade, daughter of Richard Charles Francis Christian Meade, 3rd Earl of Clanwilliam and Lady Elizabeth Herbert, on 23 November 1854.³ He died on 1 February 1861 at age 44.³
