     Lt.-Col. Charles Rankin Scott was the son of James Henry Scott.2 He married Lady Elizabeth Louise Margaret Meade, daughter of Sir Arthur Vesey Meade, 5th Earl of Clanwilliam and Muriel Stephenson, on 7 October 1933.1 He died on 4 December 1965.3
     Lt.-Col. Charles Rankin Scott gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the service of the King's Royal Rifle Corps.1
