     Charlotte Hope was the daughter of Samuel Hope.2 She married Rt. Hon. George Denman, son of Thomas Denman, 1st Baron Denman of Dovedale and Theodosia Anne Vevers, on 19 February 1852.1 She died on 19 December 1905, says 19 Dec 1950.1
     From 19 February 1852, her married name became Denman.

George Lewis Denman1

     George Lewis Denman was born on 5 May 1854.1 He was the son of Rt. Hon. George Denman and Charlotte Hope.2 He married Mary Forbes Chancellor, daughter of John George Chancellor and Isabella Adolphus Ross, on 13 January 1921.1 He died on 26 May 1929 at age 75.1
     He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, EnglandG, with a Bachelor of Law (LL.M.)1 He was a practising barrister.1 He held the office of Metropolitan Police Magistrate in 1890.1

     John George Chancellor was born on 27 September 1821 at Lanarkshire, Scotland.2 He was the son of Alexander Chancellor and Helen Hamilton Robertson.2 He married, firstly, Isabella Adolphus Ross, daughter of Dr. Adolphus McDowall Ross and Catherine Hume, on 23 June 1847.2 He married, secondly, Anne Isabella Hare on 20 October 1870.2 He married, thirdly, Cecilia Elizabeth Balfour, daughter of James Balfour, on 8 April 1874.2 He died on 15 March 1894 at age 72.2
     He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)3 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.)3 He lived at Shieldhill, Lanarkshire, ScotlandG.1
