     Catherine Agnes Conant was born on 6 July 1859.1 She was the daughter of Edward Nathaniel Conant and Gertrude Mary Proby.2 She married Sir Arthur Denman, son of Rt. Hon. George Denman and Charlotte Hope, on 17 December 1884.1 She died on 10 February 1917 at age 57.1
     From 17 December 1884, her married name became Denman.

     Rt. Hon. George Denman was born on 23 December 1819.3 He is the son of Thomas Denman, 1st Baron Denman of Dovedale and Theodosia Anne Vevers.2 He married Charlotte Hope, daughter of Samuel Hope, on 19 February 1852.3 He died on 21 September 1896 at age 76.3
     Rt. Hon. George Denman graduated with a Master of Arts (M.A.).3 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Tiverton between 1859 and 1865.3 He was invested as a Queen's Counsel (Q.C.) in 1861.3 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Tiverton between 1866 and 1872.4 He held the office of Justice of the Court of Common between 1872 and 1875.3 He held the office of Judge of the High Court between 1875 and 1892.3 He was invested as a Privy Counsellor (P.C.) in 1893.3

     Sir Arthur Denman was born on 1 May 1857.3 He is the son of Rt. Hon. George Denman and Charlotte Hope.2 He married, firstly, Catherine Agnes Conant, daughter of Edward Nathaniel Conant and Gertrude Mary Proby, on 17 December 1884.1 He married, secondly, Marie Françoise Marcelle Clothilde Louise du Bourg, daughter of Comte Henry du Bourg, on 4 October 1917.3 He died on 15 December 1931 at age 74.3
     Sir Arthur Denman graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, with a Master of Arts (M.A.).3 He was a practising barrister.3 He was Clerk of Assize, South-East Circuit in 1887.3 He was invested as a Fellow, Society of Antiquaries (F.S.A.).3
