Lt.-Col. Roderick Peter George Denman was born on 1 December 1894.1 He was the son of Sir Arthur Denman and Catherine Agnes Conant.2 He married Charlotte Marie Mathilde d'Erlanger, daughter of Baron Raphael d'Erlanger, on 28 November 1922.1 He died on 20 November 1941 at age 46 at Libya, killed in action.3
Lt.-Col. Roderick Peter George Denman graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, with a Master of Arts (M.A.).1 He fought in the First World War, where he was mentioned in despatches.3 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the service of the Royal Signals.1 He fought in the Second World War.1

Charlotte Marie Mathilde d'Erlanger was the daughter of Baron Raphael d'Erlanger.2 She married Lt.-Col. Roderick Peter George Denman, son of Sir Arthur Denman and Catherine Agnes Conant, on 28 November 1922.1 She died in 1980.3
