Frances Eileen Bernadette Boylan was born on 3 February 1936.1 She was the daughter of Lt.-Col. Francis Michael Benedict Carey Boylan and Eileen Cecilia May Wetherell.2 She married, firstly, Captain Timothy James Thomas, son of J. F. H. Thomas, on 27 April 1959.1 She and Captain Timothy James Thomas were divorced in 1964.3 She married, secondly, Captain Simon Thomas Clarke, son of Major Charles Martin Clarke and Ferelith Patricia Gundry, on 23 February 1965.1 She died on 23 February 1974 at age 38.1
