     Catherine Conner was the daughter of Daniel Conner.2 She married Rear-Admiral Sir Frederick Lewis Maitland, son of Captain Hon. Frederick Lewis Maitland of Rankeillour and Margaret Dick, in April 1804.1 She died on 6 March 1865.1
     From April 1804, her married name became Maitland.

     Lt.-Gen. John Maitland was born on 9 July 1807.1 He was the son of John Maitland and Jane Maxwell.2 He married Arabella Jane Wright, daughter of Reverend Joseph Wright, on 11 July 1849.1 He died on 16 March 1881 at age 73.1
     Lt.-Gen. John Maitland gained the rank of Lieutenant-General in the service of the Royal Artillery.1
