     Eglantine Henrietta Keith Maitland was born in 1864 at Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland.1,3 She was the daughter of Lt.-Gen. John Maitland and Arabella Jane Wright.2 She married George Hardyman on 5 September 1893 at Bath, Somerset, England.1,3 She died on 19 July 1930.1
     From 5 September 1893, her married name became Hardyman.
