Aubrey Francis Sydney Fane was born on 9 May 1895.1 He was the son of Sydney Algernon Fane and Selina Violet Fitzwygram.2 He married Geraldine Marion Langley, daughter of Admiral Gerald Charles Langley, on 3 June 1926.1 He died on 29 November 1949 at age 54 at Dallas, Texas, U.S.A., killed in a plane crash.1
     Lt.-Col.
