     Sally Ann Dickson was born on 16 July 1942.² She is the daughter of Lt.-Col. John David Logan Dickson and Elizabeth Daphne Fane.^1,2 She married Lt.-Col. John Alan Cubitt Blakiston, son of John Francis Blakiston and Margaret Dora Ward-Jackson, on 30 May 1975.¹
     From 30 May 1975, her married name became Blakiston.¹

     Major Octavious Edward Fane was born on 15 October 1886.¹ He was the son of Captain Henry George Fane and Blanche Louisa Spencer.¹ He died on 18 September 1918 at age 31, from wounds received in action.¹
