     Frederick William Verney was born on 26 February 1846.1 He was the son of Sir Harry Verney, 2nd Bt. and Eliza Hope-Vere.2 He married Maude Sarah Williams, daughter of Sir John Hay Williams, 2nd Bt., on 8 June 1870.1 He died on 26 April 1913 at age 67.1
