     Sir John Williams, 1st Bt. was the son of Bennett Williams and Sarah Hesketh.¹ He married Margaret Williams, daughter of Hugh Williams, on 21 October 1791.² He died on 9 October 1830.²
     He held the office of High Sheriff of Flintshire in 1794.² He was created 1st Baronet Williams, of Bodelwyddan, Denbighshire [Great Britain] on 24 July 1798.²

     Margaret Williams was the daughter of Hugh Williams. She married Sir John Williams, 1st Bt., son of Bennett Williams and Sarah Hesketh, on 21 October 1791.¹ She died on 6 March 1835.¹

     Hugh Williams lived at Tyfry, Anglesey, Wales.¹ He lived at Tyfry, Anglesey, Wales^G.

     Sir John Hay-Williams, 2nd Bt. was born on 9 January 1794.² He was the son of Sir John Williams, 1st Bt. and Margaret Williams.² He married Lady Sarah Elizabeth Pitt Amherst, daughter of William Pitt Amherst, 1st Earl Amherst of Arracan and Hon. Sarah Archer, on 8 September 1842.¹ He died on 10 September 1859 at age 65.²
     He was given the name of John Hay Williams at birth.² He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Williams, of Bodelwyddan, Denbighshire [G.B., 1798] on 9 October 1830.² On 12 May 1842 his name was legally changed to John Hay-Williams by Royal Licence.²

     William Williams was born on 20 September 1805.² He was the son of Sir John Williams, 1st Bt. and Margaret Williams.¹ He married, firstly, Arabella Pretyman, daughter of Reverend George Thomas Pretyman, on 30 June 1855.² He married, secondly, Marion Scott, daughter of Maj.-Gen. William Henry Scott and Hon. Harriett Alethea Stanley, on 3 August 1871.¹ He died on 18 August 1892 at age 86.²

     Arabella Pretyman was the daughter of Reverend George Thomas Pretyman.¹ She married William Williams, son of Sir John Williams, 1st Bt. and Margaret Williams, on 30 June 1855.² She died in 1867, without issue.²
     Her married name became Williams.

     Reverend George Thomas Pretyman graduated with a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.)² He held the office of Chancellor of Lincoln.¹

     Marion Scott was born in 1838.¹ She was the daughter of Maj.-Gen. William Henry Scott and Hon. Harriett Alethea Stanley.¹ She married William Williams, son of Sir John Williams, 1st Bt. and Margaret Williams, on 3 August 1871.² She died on 18 April 1920.²
     Her married name became Williams.

     Maj.-Gen. William Henry Scott was born in 1789.² He was the son of Lt.-Gen. William Scott and Anne Blackett.² He married Hon. Harriett Alethea Stanley, daughter of John Thomas Stanley, 1st Baron Stanley of Alderley and Hon. Maria Josepha Holroyd, on 20 August 1835.³ He died in 1868.²
     He lived at Thorpe House, Thorpe, Surrey, England^G.¹

     Cassandra Page-Turner was born in 1966.¹ She is the daughter of Noel Ferderick Augustus Page-Turner and Christine Mary Tetley.¹ She married David Archie Pleydell-Bouverie, son of Major Simon Pleydell-Bouverie and Vivien Eleanor Keane.¹
     Her married name became Pleydell-Bouverie.¹
