     Michael Henry Stanhope Dormer was born on 8 December 1930.¹ He was the son of Robert Stanhope Dormer and Ebba Harline d'Iberville Le Moyne Whyte.¹ He married Daphne Margaret Battine, daughter of Captain Oswald James Battine and Gwendolin Margaret Mary Grace MacRae, on 21 January 1959.¹ He died on 29 July 2019 at age 88.²
