     Mary Elizabeth Pringle was born on 14 November 1916.1 She was the daughter of Sir Norman Robert Pringle of Stichill, 8th Bt. and Florence Madge Vaughan.2 She married, firstly, Major George Wallace Anderson, son of George Wallace Anderson, on 6 October 1938.1 She and Major George Wallace Anderson were divorced in 1963.1 She married, secondly, Richard Anthony Mann Roberts, son of Captain R. M. Roberts, in 1963.1 She died on 31 March 1996 at age 79.1
     From 6 October 1938, her married name became Anderson. She adopted John Louis Wallace Anderson.1 From 1963, her married name became Roberts.1

     Sir Francis John Badcock Sykes, 10th Bt. was born on 7 June 1942.1 He is the son of Sir Francis Godfrey Sykes, 9th Bt. and Eira Betty Badcock.2 He married Susan Alexandra Ashmore, daughter of Admiral Sir Edward Beckwith Ashmore, on 30 April 1966.1
     Sir Francis John Badcock Sykes, 10th Bt. usually went by his middle name of John. He was educated at Shrewsbury School, Shrewsbury, Shropshire, England.1 He graduated from Worcester College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, with a Master of Arts (M.A.).1 He was a practising solicitor in 1968.3 He was a partner of Townsends in 1972 at Swindon, Wiltshire, England.1 He succeeded to the title of 10th Baronet Sykes, of Basildon, Berks [G.B., 1781] on 19 April 1990.4 He lived in 2003 at Kingsbury Croft, Kingsbury Street, Marlborough, Wiltshire, England.1
