     Anne Steuart was the daughter of Robert Steuart of Alderston.2 She married Sir Norman Pringle of Stichill, 6th Bt., son of Sir James Pringle of Stichill, 4th Bt. and Elizabeth Macleod, on 17 January 1826.1 She died on 4 August 1883.1
     From 17 January 1826, her married name became Pringle.1

Colonel Sir Norman William Drummond Pringle of Stichill, 7th Bt.1

     Colonel Sir Norman William Drummond Pringle of Stichill, 7th Bt. was born on 16 April 1836.1 He was the son of Sir Norman Pringle of Stichill, 6th Bt. and Anne Steuart.2 He married Louisa Clementina Steuart, daughter of Robert Steuart of Alderston and Maria Dalrymple, on 10 January 1871.1 He died on 21 July 1897 at age 61.1
     He succeeded as the 7th Baronet Pringle, of Stichill [N.S., 1683] on 18 April 1870.1 He was admitted to the Royal Company of Archers.1 He was Colonel of the 1st Battalion, S Staffordshire Regiment.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Selkirk.1

     Francis John Pringle was born in 1839.1 He was the son of Sir Norman Pringle of Stichill, 6th Bt. and Anne Steuart.2 He died, unmarried.1
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Army.1

Walter Louis Pringle1

     Walter Louis Pringle was born in 1846.1 He was the son of Sir Norman Pringle of Stichill, 6th Bt. and Anne Steuart.2 He died on 3 August 1884.1

     Robert Steuart of Alderston was born on 9 July 1806.2 He was the son of Robert Steuart of Alderston and Louisa Clementina Drummond.2 He married Maria Dalrymple, daughter of General unknown Dalrymple, on 10 July 1827.2 He died circa 1843.2
     He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.)1

     Louisa Clementina Steuart was the daughter of Robert Steuart of Alderston and Maria Dalrymple.2,3 She married Colonel Sir Norman William Drummond Pringle of Stichill, 7th Bt., son of Sir Norman Pringle of Stichill, 6th Bt. and Anne Steuart, on 10 January 1871.1 She died on 29 July 1922.1
     From 10 January 1871, her married name became Pringle.1

     Sir Norman Robert Pringle of Stichill, 8th Bt. was born on 18 October 1871.1 He was the son of Colonel Sir Norman William Drummond Pringle of Stichill, 7th Bt. and Louisa Clementina Steuart.2 He married Florence Madge Vaughan, daughter of J. Vaughan, in 1902.1 He died on 8 April 1919 at age 47, on active service.1
     He succeeded as the 8th Baronet Pringle, of Stichill [N.S., 1683] on 21 July 1897.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Army Pay Department.1 He gained the rank of Temporary Captain in the Inland Water Transport.1
