     Vice-Admiral Sir Peter William Beckwith Ashmore was born on 4 December 1921.2 He was the son of Vice-Admiral Leslie Haliburton Ashmore and Tamara Vasilevna Schutt.3 He married Patricia Moray Buller, daughter of Admiral Sir Henry Tritton Buller and Lady Hermione Moray Stuart, on 18 October 1952.1 He died on 31 July 2002 at age 80 at Tunbridge Wells, Kent, England.1,2
     He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of the Bath (K.C.B.)1 He was appointed Knight Commander, Royal Victorian Order (K.C.V.O.)1 He was awarded the Distinguished Service Cross (D.S.C.)1

     Elizabeth Mary Doveton Sturdee was born circa 1920.2 She was the daughter of Rear-Admiral Sir Lionel Arthur Doveton Sturdee, 2nd Bt. and Dorothy Mary Mowbray Sayer.1,2 She married Admiral Sir Edward Beckwith Ashmore, son of Vice-Admiral Leslie Haliburton Ashmore and Tamara Vasilevna Schutt, on 11 December 1942.1 She died on 26 April 2014.2
     From 11 December 1942, her married name became Ashmore.1

     Rear-Admiral Sir Lionel Arthur Doveton Sturdee, 2nd Bt. was born in 1884.2 He was the son of Admiral of the Fleet Sir Frederick Charles Doveton Sturdee, 1st Bt. and Marion Adela Andrews.2 He married Dorothy Mary Mowbray Sayer, daughter of William Feetham Sayer and Edith Alexandra Bell.3 He died in 1970.2
     He was appointed Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.)1 He gained the title of 2nd Baronet Sturdee. On his death his baronetcy became extinct.2
