     Lt.-Cdr. Francis Everard Meynell was born on 24 April 1917.¹ He was the son of Sir Everard Charles Lindley Meynell and Emily Rose Bulteel.¹ He married Janet Penelope Dibley, daughter of Engr. Rear-Admiral Albert Kingsley Dibley, on 25 February 1956.¹ He died on 18 February 1996 at age 78 at South Africa.^1,2
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.¹ He fought in the Second World War.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Commander in the service of the Royal Navy.¹ He was invested as a Member, Order of the British Empire (M.B.E.) in 1962.¹

     Janet Penelope Dibley is the daughter of Engr. Rear-Admiral Albert Kingsley Dibley.¹ She married Lt.-Cdr. Francis Everard Meynell, son of Sir Everard Charles Lindley Meynell and Emily Rose Bulteel, on 25 February 1956.¹
     She gained the rank of 2nd Officer in the service of the Women's Royal Naval Service.¹ From 25 February 1956, her married name became Meynell.¹ She lived in 2003 at 13 Spilhaus Avenue, Constantia, Cape Province, South Africa.¹

     Engr. Rear-Admiral Albert Kingsley Dibley lived at Court Barn, Lee-on-the-Solent, Hampshire, England.¹ He was invested as a Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.).¹

     Rosemary Janet Meynell was born on 25 June 1960.¹ She is the daughter of Lt.-Cdr. Francis Everard Meynell and Janet Penelope Dibley.¹ She married George Walter Bishop, son of Frank Bishop, in 1984.¹
