Robert Essington Negus was born on 4 May 1884 at Lichfield, Staffordshire, England.² He was the son of Thomas Addison Negus and Edith Mary Brace.^3,2 He married Edith Maud Cooper, daughter of Sir Richard Powell Cooper, 1st Bt. and Elizabeth Anne Ashmall, on 20 July 1910.¹ He died on 5 May 1970 at age 86 at Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, England.^1,2
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the service of the North Staffordshire Regiment.¹ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Staffordshire.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Staffordshire.¹

     He was educated at Wellington College, Wellington, New Zealand.¹ He was educated at Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England.¹ He was Master of the Foxhounds, Hertfordshire between 1927 and 1928.¹ He fought in the Second World War between 1939 and 1945, in the Royal Observer Corps and Royal Air Force.¹ He succeeded to the title of 3rd Baronet Cooper, of Shenstone Court, Shenstone, co. Staffs [U.K., 1905] on 5 March 1946.¹ He held the office of High Sheriff of Hertfordshire in 1956.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Hertfordshire in 1957.¹

     G. P. Hayes lived at Dunloe Castle, County Kerry, Ireland.¹

     Eileen Dolores Patricia Hayes is the daughter of G. P. Hayes.² She married, firstly, W. P. George.¹ She married, secondly, Sir William Herbert Cooper, 3rd Bt., son of Sir Richard Ashmole Cooper, 2nd Bt. and Alice Elizabeth Priestland, on 1 March 1948.¹
      Her married name became George.¹ From 1 March 1948, her married name became Cooper.

     Edward Andreas Priestland married Kathleen Duncan Knight, daughter of W. E. D. Knight, before 1951.¹ He died before 1951.¹
