     Lt.-Col. John Pascoe Grenfell was born on 21 March 1869.2 He was the son of Pascoe du Pré Grenfell and Sophia Grenfell.2 He married Adeline Octavia Lambart, daughter of Gustavus William Lambart and Lady Frances Caroline Maria Conyngham, on 2 August 1905.3 He died on 6 October 1948 at age 79.3
     He fought in the Boer War.2 He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the service of the Royal Navy.2 He fought in the First World War.2 He gained the rank of Lieutenant Colonel in the service of the Buckinghamshire Yeomanry, TFR.2 He lived at The Rookery, Wymondham, Oakham, Leicestershire, England.1
