     Lt.-Col. Thomas Tryon was born in 1830.2 He was the son of Thomas Tryon and Anne Trollope.2 He married Alice Dashwood, daughter of Reverend Samuel Vere Dashwood and Edith Elizabeth Hawkshaw, on 15 July 1873.2 He died on 19 December 1888.2
     He lived Bulwick Park.2 He was High Sheriff , Lieutenant-Colonel 7th Royal Fusiliers in 1875.2 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Northamptonshire.2 He lived at Bulwick Park, Northamptonshire, EnglandG.1

     Eva Mildred Tryon was the daughter of Lt.-Col. Thomas Tryon and Alice Dashwood.2 She married Ernest William Proby Conant, son of Edward Nathaniel Conant and Gertrude Mary Proby, on 12 July 1898.1 She died on 6 September 1957.1
     From 12 July 1898, her married name became Conant.

     Sir Roger John Edward Conant, 1st Bt. was born on 28 May 1899.1 He was the son of Ernest William Proby Conant and Eva Mildred Tryon.3 He married Daphne Lorraine Learoyd, daughter of Alfred Ernest Learoyd, on 9 November 1920.1 He died in 1973.1
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, EnglandG.1 He was educated at Royal Military College, Sandhurst, Berkshire, EnglandG.1 He gained the rank of Major in the Grenadier Guards.1 He held the office of High Sheriff of Rutland in 1927.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Conservative) for Chesterfield between 1931 and 1935.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Rutland in 1932.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Conservative) for Bewdley between 1937 and 1950.1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) for Rutland in 1946.1 He held the office of Opposition Whip of the House of Commons between 1946 and 1951.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Conservative) for Rutland and Stamford between 1950 and 1959.1 He held the office of Comptroller of the Household between 1951 and 1954.1 He was appointed Commander, Royal Victorian Order (C.V.O.) in 1953.1 He was created 1st Baronet Conant, of Lyndon, co.      From 10 September 1938, her married name became Conant. From 4 November 1955, her married name became Ward.1
