     General Francis John Davies is the son of Thomas Davies. He married, secondly, Elizabeth Martin, daughter of Admiral of the Fleet Sir Thomas Byam Martin and Catherine Fanshawe. He married, firstly, Anna Dunlop, daughter of Lt.-Gen. Sir James Dunlop, 21st of that Ilk and Julia Baillie, on 5 May 1824.2
     He lived at Danehurst, Sussex, EnglandG.1 He lived at Elmley Park, Worcestershire, EnglandG.2

     Emily Agnes Conant was born on 5 April 1849.1 She was the daughter of Edward Nathaniel Conant and Gertrude Mary Proby.2 She married Frank Edward Vandeleur, son of Major Thomas Pakenham Vandeleur and Frances Lucy Maunsell, in July 1876.1 She died on 12 September 1931 at age 82.1
     From July 1876, her married name became Vandeleur.

     From 7 September 1878, her married name became Fowke.

Sir Frederick Thomas Fowke, 2nd Bt.1

     Sir Frederick Thomas Fowke, 2nd Bt. was born on 29 June 1816.2 He was the son of Sir Frederick Gustavus Fowke, 1st Bt. and Mary Anne Henderson.2 He married Sarah Mary Spencer, daughter of Henry Leigh Spencer, on 10 May 1849.2 He died on 12 May 1897 at age 80.2
     He was admitted to Middle Temple entitled to practise as a barrister.2 He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Fowke, of Lowesby, co. Leicester [U.K., 1814] in 1856.2 He held the office of Constable of Leicester Castle.2 He gained the rank of Colonel in the 3rd Battalion, Leicester Regiment.2 He held the office of chairman of the Leicestershire Quarter Sessions.2 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.)2 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)2

     Major Frederick Gustavus Fowke was born on 10 October 1853.2 He was the son of Sir Frederick Thomas Fowke, 2nd Bt. and Sarah Mary Spencer.2 He married Cecilia Eva Conant, daughter of Edward Nathaniel Conant and Gertrude Mary Proby, on 7 September 1878.1 He died on 16 February 1893 at age 39.1
     He gained the rank of Major in the 3rd Battalion, Leicestershire Regiment.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Leicestershire.2
