     From 21 December 1936, her married name became Codrington.

     Mary Adela Codrington was the daughter of Lt.-Gen. Sir Alfred Edward Codrington and Adela Harriet Portal.2 She married Major Robert Wentworth Doyne, son of Charles Mervyn Doyne and Frances Mary FitzWilliam, on 12 August 1931.1 She died on 11 July 1961, without issue.1
     Mary Adela Codrington was President of the Rutland British Red Cross Society.1 From 12 August 1931, her married name became Doyne.1 She was invested as a Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) in 1942.1
