     Gerald Cloete was born circa 1873.2 He married Ethel Harriet Morris, daughter of General Charles Henry Morris and Lady Blanche Godolphin Osborne, on 2 December 1905.1 He died in 1939.
     He was Resident Magistrate of Frankfort, Orange River Colony.1

     Her married name became Partridge.

     He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)1

     Emily Charlotte Grenfell was the daughter of Pascoe Grenfell and Hon. Georgiana St. Leger.1,2 She married Rev. Lord Sydney Godolphin Osborne, son of Francis Godolphin Osborne, 1st Baron Godolphin and Hon. Elizabeth Charlotte Eden, on 29 May 1834.1 She died on 19 December 1875.3
     From 29 May 1834, her married name became Osborne.
