     John Ribton Gore Mackessack was born on 12 July 1921.1 He is the son of Captain Robert John Mackessack and Ada Mary Frances Gore.1 He married Nicolette Freston, daughter of Henry Freston, in January 1955.1

     James Ogilvy, 3rd Earl of Findlater was the son of Patrick Ogilvy, 2nd Earl of Findlater and Lady Elizabeth Ogilvy.1 He married, firstly, Lady Anne Montgomerie, daughter of Hugh Montgomerie, 7th Earl of Eglinton and Lady Anne Hamilton, circa 1658.2 He married, secondly, Lady Mary Hamilton, daughter of William Hamilton, 2nd Duke of Hamilton and Lady Elizabeth Maxwell, in October 1703.3 He died in 1711.4
     He succeeded as the 4th Lord Ogilvy of Deskford [S., 1615] in May 1659.1 He succeeded as the 3rd Earl of Findlater [S., 1638] in May 1659.3

     Lt.-Col. John Montgomerie is the son of Hon. Francis Montgomerie and Elizabeth Sinclair.1 A contract for the marriage of Lt.-Col. John Montgomerie and Lady Mary Carmichael was signed on 28 September 1704.2
     He held the office of Master of the Mint [Scotland].1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Ayrshire between 1708 and 1722.1

He was the son of James Ogilvy, 3rd Earl of Findlater and Lady Anne Montgomerie.2,1 He married, secondly, Elizabeth Montgomerie, daughter of Hon. Francis Montgomerie and Elizabeth Sinclair.1 He married, firstly, Elizabeth Baird, daughter of Sir James Baird of Auchmedden, after 1669.3 He died on 20 September 1737.2
