     Crystal Elizabeth Brooksbank was born in 1924.1 She was the daughter of Lt.-Col. Edward York Brooksbank and Hazel Thomas.1 She married, firstly, Henry Desmond Verner Pakenham, son of Hamilton Richard Pakenham and Emilie Willis Stringer, on 14 September 1946.1 She and Henry Desmond Verner Pakenham were divorced in 1960.1 She married, secondly, Ivor Geroge Salmond, son of Major George Salmond, on 8 November 1960.1 She married, thirdly, Vere Tweedie after 1981.1 She died on 23 August 2006.2
     From 14 September 1946, her married name became Pakenham.1 From 8 November 1960, her married name became Salmond.1 From after 1981, her married name became Tweedie.1

     Henry Desmond Verner Pakenham was born on 5 November 1911.2 He was the son of Hamilton Richard Pakenham and Emilie Willis Stringer.1,2 He married, firstly, Crystal Elizabeth Brooksbank, daughter of Lt.-Col. Edward York Brooksbank and Hazel Thomas, on 14 September 1946.1 He and Crystal Elizabeth Brooksbank were divorced in 1960.1 He married, secondly, Venetia Doyle, daughter of William Paterson Doyle, in 1963.2 He died on 17 April 2010 at age 98 at Suffolk, England.3 He was buried at St. Mary the Virgin Churchyard, Brettenham, Suffolk, England.3
     Henry Desmond Verner Pakenham usually went by his middle name of Desmond.2 He was educated at Monkton Combe College, Bath, Somerset, EnglandG.2 He was educated at St. John's College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG.2 He was Deputy High Commissioner to Sydney.2 He was Counsellor to Buenos Aires.2 He became a Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.) in 1964.1 He was Counsellor and Consul-General to Tel Aviv.2 He lived in 2003 at The Mill House, 46 Prentice Street, Lavenham, Suffolk, EnglandG.2

     Lieutenant Hugh Godfrey Brooksbank was born on 24 November 1893.1 He was the son of Sir Edward Clitherow Brooksbank, 1st Bt. and Katherine Graham Lang.1 He died on 16 December 1914 at age 21, from wounds received in action.1
     He fought in the First Battle of Ypres.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the service of the 2nd Battalion, Yorkshire Regiment.1
