     Benjamin Claudius Christian was born on 30 May 1832 at Pitcairn IslandG.2 He is the son of John Buffett and Mary Christian.1,2 He married Eliza Quintal, daughter of John Quintal and Maria Christian, on 25 December 1851 at Pitcairn IslandG.2 He died on 4 August 1897 at age 65 at Norfolk IslandG.2
     He and Eliza Quintal emigrated on 8 June 1856 from Norfolk Island; on board the transport Morayshire.3

     Ephraim Christian was born on 15 February 1845 at Pitcairn IslandG.2,3 He was the son of John Buffett and Mary Christian.1,2 He married Pauline Adams, daughter of John Adams and Caroline Quintal, on 6 March 1864 at Norfolk IslandG.2 He died on 20 May 1920 at age 75 at Norfolk IslandG.2 He was buried at Norfolk Island Cemetery, Kingston, Norfolk Island.3
     He was also known as Ephraim Buffett.4

     Simon Young was born on 11 August 1823 at Pitcairn IslandG.2 He was the son of George Young and Hannah Adams.3 He married Mary Buffett Christian, daughter of John Buffett and Mary Christian, on 31 July 1845 at Pitcairn IslandG.3 He died on 26 September 1893 at age 70 at Pitcairn IslandG, from typhus.1
     He held the office of Chief Magistrate of Pitcairn Island in 1849.4 He was a schoolteacher.3 In 1864 he was among the second wave of returnees from Norfolk in 1864. The fact that so many children were among the Pitcairn returnees convinced him that they needed their schoolteacher, and this is why he returned. He was Pastor and schoolteacher after 1864.3

     Mary Young was born on 28 January 1825 at Pitcairn IslandG.2 She was the daughter of William Young and Elizabeth Mills.2 She married Thursday October Christian, son of Thursday October Christian and Teraura (?), on 24 March 1839 at Pitcairn IslandG.3 She died on 16 June 1885 at age 60 at Pitcairn IslandG, from dropsy.2
     Mary Young also went by the nick-name of Polly.1 From 24 March 1839, her married name became Christian.3 In 1864 she was among the 2nd wave of returnees from Norfolk to Pitcairn.3

     Miriam Young was born on 30 August 1829 at Pitcairn IslandG.2,1 She was the daughter of William Young and Elizabeth Mills.3 She married Isaac Christian, son of Charles Christian and Sully (?), on 31 July 1844 at Pitcairn IslandG.3 She died on 25 November 1911 at age 82 at Norfolk IslandG.2,1
     Miriam Young also went by the nick-name of 'Mile-Yarm'.3

     Henry Samuel Hunt Christian was born on 12 October 1845 at Pitcairn IslandG.1 He was the son of Isaac Christian and Miriam Young.1 He married, firstly, Eleanor Clotilda Christian, daughter of Charles Christian and Charlotte Quintal, on 23 December 1866 at Norfolk IslandG.2 He married, secondly, Alice Maude Christian, daughter of Benjamin Claudius Christian and Eliza Quintal, on 26 November 1874 at Norfolk IslandG.2 He died on 8 June 1905 at age 59 at Norfolk IslandG.1
     He was a whaler.2 Henry Samuel Hunt Christian usually went by his middle name of Hunt.3
     He was said to have been a blackbirder (kidnapper of slaves.)2
