     Ellen Medex was born circa 1836.1,2 She was the daughter of Charles Medex and Miriam Graham.1 She died on 7 May 1885, without legitimate issue.1
     She and Henry St. John, 5th Viscount Bolingbroke were associated in 1869 whom he is alleged to have married.1 She was styled as Viscountess St. John in 1869.1
