     Gwendolen Georgiana Howard was born on 5 October 1902.1 She was the daughter of Hon. Oliver Howard and Muriel Mary Temple Stephenson.2 She married Captain Roger Bevan Crewdson, son of Wilson Crewdson, on 5 September 1923.1 She and Captain Roger Bevan Crewdson were divorced in 1934.1 She died on 30 March 1936 at age 33.1
      Her married name became Crewdson.

     Captain Roger Bevan Crewdson is the son of Wilson Crewdson.2 He married Gwendolen Georgiana Howard, daughter of Hon. Oliver Howard and Muriel Mary Temple Stephenson, on 5 September 1923.1 He and Gwendolen Georgiana Howard were divorced in 1934.1
     He gained the rank of Captain in the service of the Royal Field Artillery.1

     Hon. Geoffrey William Algernon Howard was born on 12 February 1877.1 He was the son of George James Howard, 9th Earl of Carlisle and Hon. Rosalind Frances Stanley.2 He married Hon. Ethel Christian Methuen, daughter of Field Marshal Paul Sanford Methuen, 3rd Baron Methuen of Corsham and Mary Ethel Ayshford Sanford, on 15 May 1915.1 He died on 20 June 1935 at age 58.1
     He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, with a Master of Arts (M.A.).1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.).1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Liberal) for Eskdale between 1906 and 1910.1 He was Private Secretary to the Parliamentary Secretary of the Board of Trade in 1909.1 He was Private Secretary to the Prime Minister in 1910.1 He held the office of Vice-Chamberlain of the Household between 1911 and 1915, Government Whip.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Liberal) for Westbury between 1911 and 1918.1 He gained the rank of Temporary Lieutenant in 1914 in the service of the Royal Naval Division.1 He held the office of Junior Lord of the Treasury between 1915 and 1916.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.)      Lady Cecilia Blanche Genevieve FitzRoy was born on 13 May 1922.2 She was the daughter of Alfred William Maitland FitzRoy, 8th Duke of Grafton and Susanna Mary McTaggart-Stewart.2 She married George Anthony Geoffrey Howard, Baron Howard of Henderskelfe, son of Hon. Geoffrey William Algernon Howard and Hon. Ethel Christian Methuen, on 11 May 1949.1 She died in 1974.1
     She was with the Women's Auxiliary Air Foirce during the Second World War.2 Her married name became Howard.

Ethel Christian Methuen.2 He married Lady Cecilia Blanche Genevieve FitzRoy, daughter of Alfred William Maitland FitzRoy, 8th Duke of Grafton and Susanna Mary McTaggart-Stewart, on 11 May 1949.1 He died on 27 November 1984 at age 64.3
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.1 He was educated at Balliol College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England.1 He gained the rank of Major in the service of the Green Howards, and attached to the Indian Army.1 He fought in the Second World War, where he was wounded.1 He held the office of County Councillor for the North Riding, Yorkshire in 1947.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Yorkshire in 1952.1 He was President of the Country Landowners' Association between 1969 and 1984.1 He was Chairman of the Governors of the BBC.1 He lived at Castle Howard, Castle Howard, Yorkshire, England. Raymond Henry Bonham Carter was born on 19 June 1929.2 He was the son of Sir Maurice Bonham Carter and Lady Helen Violet Asquith, Baroness Asquith of Yarnbury.1 He married Elena Propper de Callejon, daughter of Don Eduardo Propper de Callejon and Helene Fould-Springer, in 1958. He died on 17 January 2004 at age 74.2
     He gained the rank of 2nd Lieutenant in the service of the Iirsh Guards.3

     Joseph Grimond, Baron Grimond was born on 19 July 1913. He was the son of Joseph Bowman Grimond and Lydia Helen Richardson.3,4 He married Hon. Laura Miranda Bonham Carter, daughter of Sir Maurice Bonham Carter and Lady Helen Violet Asquith, Baroness Asquith of Yarnbury, on 31 May 1938 at St. Margaret's Church, Westminster, London, England.3 He died on 24 October 1993 at age 80 at Orkney Islands, Scotland, from a stroke.5
     He was decorated with the award of the Territorial Decoration (T.D.).5 He held the office of Leader of Parliamentary Liberal Party between 1956 and 1957.1 He was invested as a Privy Counsellor (P.C.).1 He was created Baron Grimond, of Firth in the County of Orkney [U.K. Life Peer] on 12 October 1983.6
