Elizabeth Albinia Upton was born on 16 August 1775.1 She was the daughter of Clotworthy Upton, 1st Baron Templetown and Elizabeth Boughton.1 She married Frederick William Hervey, 1st Marquess of Bristol, son of Rt. Rev. Frederick Augustus Hervey, 4th Earl of Bristol and Elizabeth Davers, on 20 February 1798, although his father wanted him to marry the Countess de la Marche, an illegitimate daughter of the King of Prussia, instead.1 She died on 25 May 1844 at age 68 at Sussex Square, Kemptown, Brighton, Sussex, EnglandG.1 She was buried on 5 June 1844 at Ickworth, Suffolk, EnglandG.1

Sir Frederick Hervey-Bathurst, 3rd Bt. was born on 6 June 1807 at Italy.2,3 He was the son of Sir Frederick Anne Hervey-Bathurst, 2nd Bt. and Jane Douglas Hutchison.4 He married, firstly, Louisa Mary Smythe, daughter of Walter Smythe, on 14 May 1832.2 He married, secondly, Clare Emily Brooke, daughter of Sir Richard Brooke, 6th Bt. and Harriot Cunliffe, on 23 September 1845.4 He died on 29 October 1881 at age 74.2
