Susan Strang Steel is the daughter of Jock Wykeham Strang Steel.1 She married Major Sir Crispin Hamlyn Agnew of Lochnaw, 11th Bt., son of Sir Fulque Melville Gerald Noel Agnew of Lochnaw, 10th Bt. and Swanzie Erskine, on 27 September 1980.1

Patrick Agnew of Lochnaw was the son of Quentin Agnew of Lochnaw and Mariota Vaux.1 He married Katherine Gordon, daughter of Sir Robert Gordon of Lochinvar, circa 1499.1 He died in 1513.1

Quentin Agnew of Lochnaw was the son of Andrew Agnew of Lochnaw and unknown Macdowall.1 He married Mariota Vaux, daughter of Robert Vaux of Barnbarroch and Euphemia Graham, in 1469.2 He died in 1498.1

Andrew Agnew of Lochnaw married Mary Kennedy, daughter of Sir James Kennedy of Dunure, younger and Lady Mary Stewart, in 1426 at Scotland.2 He died in 1455, 'on the service of the king', probably at the Battle of Arkenholm.1
