     Robert Vaux of Barnbarroch was the son of John Vaux and Elizabeth Kennedy.1 He married Euphemia Graham, daughter of Malise Graham, 1st Earl of Menteith.1 He died after 6 March 1459.2
     Robert Vaux of Barnbarroch was also known as Robert Vaus of Barnbarroch.3 In 1451 he had a charter for Barnbarroch from William, Earl of Douglas.1 In 1456 he resigned Barnbarroch to his eldest son.1
