Sir John Henry Pelly, 2nd Bt. was born on 30 March 1809.1 He was the son of Sir John Henry Pelly, 1st Bt. and Emma Boulton.2 He married, firstly, Johanna Jane Carstairs, daughter of John Carstairs, on 19 December 1840.1 He married, secondly, Blanche Elizabeth Vincent, daughter of Rev. Sir Frederick Vincent, 11th Bt., on 13 November 1860. He died on 20 December 1864 at age 55.2
He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Pelly, of Upton, Essex [U.K., 1840] on 13 August 1852.2

Charles Raymond Pelly was born on 16 June 1845.1 He was the son of Sir John Henry Pelly, 2nd Bt. and Johanna Jane Carstairs.2 He died on 23 July 1866 at age 21, unmarried.1
