     Commander Edward Newdigate Boulton was born on 21 July 1895.1 He was the son of Arthur Thomas Boulton and Catherine Edith Owsley.1 He married, firstly, Elizabeth Eleanor Lechmere Harding, daughter of Robert Bruce Harding, on 10 April 1928.1 He and Elizabeth Eleanor Lechmere Harding were divorced in 1951.1 He married, secondly, Sheila Sybilla Green, daughter of Herbert Green, on 2 May 1953.1 He died on 10 March 1963 at age 67.1
     He was educated at Royal Naval College, Osborne, Isle of Wight, England.1 He was educated at Royal Naval College, Dartmouth, Devon, England.1 He gained the rank of Commander in the service of the Royal Navy.1
